Colchagua Harvest 2026, our emblematic festival
Why You Can’t Miss Chile’s Most Important Wine Festival
The aroma of fresh grapes is already in the air! On March 6, 7, and 8, 2026, the heart of Santa Cruz will once again become the epicenter of Chilean winemaking. The Colchagua Harvest Festival is not just an event; it’s Chile’s most emblematic celebration, where tradition, the elegance of our grape varieties, and the joy of the countryside come together in a single toast.
A World-Class Epicenter: Wine Luxury in South America
The Colchagua Valley is not just an agricultural destination; it has established itself as the undisputed benchmark for luxury tourism in the Southern Cone. Recently, BBC Travel highlighted the valley as one of the world’s 20 must-see destinations for 2026, emphasizing its sophisticated offerings that combine world-class boutique hotels with globally renowned signature cuisine, such as chef Francis Mallmann’s Fuegos de Apalta restaurant.
What’s new in 2026?
This year, the organizers have raised the bar with a focus on sustainability and immersive experiences. The highlight this year is the reopening of the Plaza de Armas, which was closed for renovations during last year’s event.
- Seal of Good Practices: The festival has received official certification from Enoturismo Chile, guaranteeing superior standards of safety, organization, and environmental care.
- Updated Lineup of Artists: Major musical and folkloric performances will fill the stages of the Plaza de Armas in Santa Cruz. The first confirmed artists include: Los Jaivas, María José Quintanilla, La Combo Tortuga, and Los Viking’s 5, among others.
- Signature Cuisine: New food truck areas and local restaurants will present pairings designed exclusively for the valley’s iconic wines.
- Wine Glasses and Tastings: You can choose between the classic Vendimia Glass for $16,000 (CLP) for the curious, or the Colchagua Glass for $29,000 (CLP) for more discerning palates seeking to sample the region’s iconic wines. Additionally, glass purchases include the option of selecting transportation from the Metropolitan Region if you decide to come for the day only.
