Saturday – Day 3: Celebrating Maritime Month in Pichilemu

While Naval Glories Day is on Thursday the 21st, coastal towns offer various activities throughout the weekend to commemorate the date. Therefore, a day trip to Pichilemu, just 90 minutes from the Cava Colchagua Hotel, is an excellent option.

11:00 AM: Arrive at the Main Beach to see the local ceremonies and enjoy the sea air. In Plaza Prat, you’ll find a craft fair featuring local producers. Take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy the viewpoint at La Puntilla.
Lunch: A feast of fresh seafood on the coast, celebrating our “Marine Month” in style. Highlights include the Costa María restaurant with its beautiful oceanfront views, offering typical local dishes; Oxalis, with its signature Latin cuisine and excellent seafood; and Los Piures Social Club, strategically located in Punta de Lobos, ideal for enjoying Chilean food in a beachy atmosphere.
Sunset: Take a walk through Punta de Lobos Park, enjoy the views from the cliffs, and if you’re up for a longer walk, you can discover the secret access to La Pancora beaches where you can watch the best coastal sunset at 6:00 PM before returning to your personal century-old barrel at the Cava Colchagua Hotel.

Sunday – Day 4: Farewell with the Aroma of Oak

Before heading home, take some time to enjoy a final coffee by the pool.

Check-out: After yesterday’s excursion, it’s best to rest up until midday and check out. If you still have energy, a visit to the Colchagua Museum is a great idea. It houses the largest private wine collection in South America, and you’ll need at least a couple of hours to explore it at a leisurely pace. It’s the perfect way to end your four days in the Colchagua Valley.
